Studio Notes is our Friday letter, and it is the honest version of building this.
Most brands show you the finished thing. We'd rather show you the working out. So we write about the decisions, the prototypes that failed, the colour that took months to settle, the compartments question we still haven't settled between us. When you tell us something that changes how we think, we say so, and we tell you what changed.
There's a bigger point in here too. Everyday carry decided a long time ago that useful things should be grey, tactical and designed for a person whose every day is identical. We think that's wrong, and we use these letters to say why, with the history and the evidence, not just the opinion.
